Trovata Will Return, Via Shopbop, This Fall

Last week, Shopbop held a fall preview in a mind boggling apartment in Gramercy Park.  Beyond the floor to ceiling windows and brocade chairs were racks and racks of clothing, most of which you’ve already seen marching down the fall runways.  But there were two newsworthy nuggets.

First, Loeffler Randall is launching handbags.  It’s not the first time the beloved shoe brand’s ventured outside their bread and butter.  Years ago coach outlet online, designer Jessie Randall added handbags coach outlet online, ready-to-wear, and swim to her line before scaling back to just shoes (shoes, by the way, that court quite the international cult following).  Come fall, Randall will introduce a new collection of buttery soft leather bags in classic beige and black including the satchel like shape, above left, and an easy going leather tote.

Trovata will make an equally welcome return.  We stumbled upon a pile of knit sweaters on the corner of a windowsill with Trovata labels sewn into the neck.  The California-based brand hasn’t shown a new collection since fall of 2009 coach outlet online, though they’ve partnered with Anthropologie in the meantime.  The few sweaters on display coach outlet online, cream with navy and yellow stripes, look like the kind of clothes that made the line so popular just a few years ago. We won’t be the only ones thrilled to hear they’re making a comeback.
